I don't charge anything for the information that I provide here on the TexasACL website or for my involvement with the ACL User Forum.  I do it entirely for the love of sharing knowledge and helping others.  I do not intend to ask for donations or gifts, but if you want to support the TexasACL website, I encourage you to do so by accessing Amazon.com via one of the various links on my pages.  You do not have to purchase the specific items linked to, but by linking to Amazon.com via the TexasACL website I will receive a small percentage of the total that you would have spent anyway.

Amazon.com is good for things other than books.  They have all sorts of other products and services.

For those of you who are interested in learning ACL, I do have a specific recommendation:  David Coderre's "Fraud Analysis Techniques Using ACL."  This book used to be known as the "Fraud Tool Kit" and I personally credit it with teaching me how to write ACL scripts/code.  I would not be where I am today if it weren't for this book.  My recommendation for the book stems more as a tool to learn ACL than as a tool to detect fraud.  If you purchase this book, and study the scripts, I guarantee that your understanding of ACL will improve!  Dave does a great job explaining the scripts.

Furthermore, if you are as appreciative of the help Dave has provided on the ACL User Forum as I am, your purchase of this book will help him as well.

Thanks,
